Consolidated Planning Department

1-      Start the process of compiling the seventh five-year development plan of the country, the "Production and sale of petrochemical industry in 1400 (2021)" plan and "Review of the product portfolio in the petrochemical industry up to the horizon of 1406 (2027)";

2-     Cooperate in amending Articles of Association of the National Petrochemical Company based on its new role and duties to submit the bill to the Islamic Consultative Assembly;

3-     Cooperate in preparing performance and strategic reports of the company, including "Annual Assembly Report of the National Petrochemical Company", "Petrochemical Industry Book of 2020", "Petrochemical Industry Development Roadmap", "Petrochemical Industry Performance: Production, Sales in 2019", "Report of the petrochemical industry operators based on the latest status of the industry’s shareholders", "Status of upstream feedstocks in the petrochemical industry in 2019 and also its demand in the 2018-2025 period", "Value added in the Petrochemical Industry", "Petrochemical Industry Development Strategy-Development of Products Value Chain", "Study of propylene shortage/surplus during from 2019 to 2025" and "Status of production and consumption (balance) of upstream and inter-complex feedstock required in the petrochemical industry";

4-     Cooperate in amending the "Regulations on Discount Rates for Petrochemical Gas and Liquid Feedstock" and "Instructions for Using Second-Hand Units in the Petrochemical Industry";

5-      Calculate specific evaluation indicators of petrochemical industry for the year 2019 (real) and 2020 (forecast);

Cooperate with Fuel Consumption Optimization Company in formulating and implementing the projects related to energy efficiency in the petrochemical industry.

Market Research Department

1-      Analyze import of petrochemical products in 2019;

2-     Define propulsion projects (in the four chains of propylene, ethylene, benzene and methanol) of the country's petrochemical industry based on the analysis of petrochemical imports;

3-     Determine the pricing formula of propylene in cooperation with the Projects Review and Evaluation Department;

4-     Determine the ethylene pricing formula in cooperation with the Projects Review and Evaluation Department;

5-      Determine the 8-year price of methanol based on the real status of the domestic market and the impact of the global markets;

Study butadiene chain in order to announce complementary propulsion plans.

Information Center

1-      Proposing and preparing the "Reimbursement of a part of the costs of providing information resources of the information center" scheme and presenting it to the board of directors and obtaining an approval;

2-     Implementing the decision of the board of directors in the second half of the year and signing agreements with private/state petrochemical companies;

3-     Reviewing and amending the "Instructions for providing information services";

4-     Designing and preparing the necessary infrastructure in information systems for "providing online services" and "implementing the cost recovery plan";

5-      Providing the information resources required by various department and divisions;

6-     Providing information services to organizational users and external members and referring to the digital library;

7-      Organizing, storing, managing and publishing electronic and printed information;

8-     Cooperating in the working groups of "Preparation and compilation of quarterly reports of petrochemical industries" and "Compilation and integration of the seventh development plan";

Publications: Petrochemical Updates in the World, Periodicals, Information Resources, Petro-Refining Industry Report.

Information and IT Management Department

1. Develop G2G (government to government) interactions between the company and the warehouse information systems of petrochemical companies and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade;

2. Creating and supporting application systems:

• Planning management system and five-year plans;

• Business Intelligence System (BI) in the company as well as in the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC);

• Implementing the comprehensive system of petrochemical industry projects;

• Creating Shafaf.nipc.ir website for free access of citizens to the organization's data;

• Maintenance, development and support of production, downstream, sales, attendance and restaurant information systems, document archives, performance appraisal, transportation, Samen web service;

 3. Network and Information Security:

• Redesign, implement and increase intranet and internet security;

• Implement the project to create a new data center to support the existing center and increase the capacity and processing speed;

• Take the necessary corrective measures in the network, including data and video conferencing communication line with the Ministry of Petroleum, updating security certificates, e-mail server, etc.;

• Launch organization-specific videoconferences;
