Utilizing novel information technologies to provide a platform for information supply and management to enhance the scientific and technical level of professionals in order to reach NPC goals in all disciplines: industry, education, technology and development.

Promoting cooperation between all governmental and private sectors of petrochemical industry in obtaining quality information resources.

• Main duties:

Collecting, analysis and preparation  of overseas and domestic information materials required for NPC consisting of periodicals, books, standards, and technical industrial and plant documentations.

Collecting the global research and study documents on petrochemical plants to provide the Iranian professionals with global experience to use or transfer or develop required technologies.

Preparation and publication of information such as books of  abstracts,  guides and, as well as translating selected technical papers and preparation of brief  news on global and regional petrochemical industries

Setting up, management  and maintenace  of information systems including digital library, portal and library loan  systems,  which provides a platform for  searchnig, and  easy access to  information, and classification of information,  determination of  levels of  privilaged access to the electronic resources, and  interaction with industrial users.
